Back to Basics - The Crooked Mile (2-6)

This map continues on with the orange theme set in first Basic map, but with a slight difference this time. Gone are all the fancy teleporters to be replaced with some really odd looking purple water rectangles. Very weird. Lighting is better here. It darkens as you go down from the top floor, but I would say that the top floor is still too bright. There are some very obvious texture misalignments.

Everything circulates around the area in the first screen shot. The reason for this is because the weapons are all placed here, on the tip of each successive level. There is actually a grid of corridors going of from this area but I rarely ventured down them. There were some token pieces of armour and ammo, but I didn't really need them.

Its actually a very frantic map to play. As I mentioned earlier, play is mostly in that one area with people dropping and jumping through the holes in the floor.
