I feel that you'll either love or hate the style of this map and unfortunately I just don't like it. Its just too cheesy for my
liking. Don't get me wrong it is a very nice set of textures and Vondurís execution of them is excellent, but I just do
not like their colours. Maybe its like Fribs phobia of brown?
The architecture is detailed and reminiscent of some of ztn's Quake 2 maps. Lighting in some areas of the map
seemed very flat and bland. There are quite a few spot lights embedded in the roof but they just seem to give a off
a slight glow around them and not do anything else.
There are some nice touches in the map, like the RL which hovers in mid air. There are two ways of grasping this
item. The first is to jump into that now standard map entity the push trigger which rockets you up into the sky and into
the RL. The second way is via jumping off a platform and up into it. That is not as easy as it sounds. The edge of
these platforms are sharply angled upwards and so timing your jump correctly means you will go up far enough to grab
it. Its kind of similar to the effect used an old map called Trimp.
The map works pretty well in a 4 player FFA. For a more interesting game though stick another 2 in there and the
game becomes all the more fun!
