This map is a conversion of the original Quake 2 map. Renegades idea here is to release both versions of the map together. I've played both versions. I prefer the Quake 2 version which is funny considering I prefer Quake to Quake 2.

Anyway why is probably what you're asking. Simple. The textures in this map just don't work very well. They don't seem to go together well. Its also too dark. The shadows in the main room are nearly pitch black (see second shot). Its also wierd because no light appears to come from the window on the left.

These points aside, it plays pretty good. I managed to rack up quite a few frags just by dominating the upper level of the map. This was because the RL is placed here and you see most of whats going on.
