Woah! This is a texture choice I haven't seen before - an almost all-wooden map. Actually, I like it - this map uses straight id textures in ways I haven't seen elsewhere - but the wall sections done up like doors irked me. Perhaps a different wood texture would have worked better.

As you can see, there's one very tall atrium flanked and wrapped by smaller areas with teleports and lifts mixing it up. My only niggle is that there are some very queerly proportioned areas that at first glance don't look navigable, such as the teleport below a set of stairs.

During play, the RLs quickly prove both a blessing and curse, with the GL proving its worth once it's picked up. The SNG is worth its weight in iron pyrite in the tight corridors - no splash damage - but the layout sometimes had me rather disoriented.

Suprised there aren't more comments on this tbh.
The theme is nice; I like the way how you first spawn in and during the first split-second it looks like a cranky steve map... then you blink and realise it's actually well established and detailed. Very original texture usage indeed... the architecture was cool too, especially those neat half-pipe thingies.

It was too cramped though; gameplay isn't very fun when there's such restricted space to move about in. The vertical aspect is fine, it just needs a bit more spacing out on the XY front, and no cramped tunnels leading to dead ends.

Those textures seem to be Doom ones if I'm not mistaken.
