Thank you to Wrath for contributing. Heres his interview...

1. What are your top 3 levels that you've made?
kill! maim! burn! and Rev 6:8 since they are my latest two. and then I'll have to answer "my next one", whatever that'll be...

File: kill! maim! burn! (140 Kb)
Game: Quake
Players: 2 to 4 players

File: Revelation 6:8 (236 Kb)

Game: Quake

Players: 2 to 6 players

2. Why have you chosen these levels.

I haven't really released a lot of maps, so my latest should also be the best of the lot.

3. Which is your least favourite level, if you think you have one!.

actually, I'd have to say "my next one" on this one too. I constantly worry over my projects, doubting them to hell and back. I hear it's pretty common though. part of the creative process and all that jizz...

4. What map editor do you use?

worldcraft, for over two years now...

5. What level editing tips do you have for other authors?

first of all, I don't feel like I'm in a position to tell people what's hot and what's not, but if I have to, it has to be this; "think about item placement." As the designer of any level, you can in much controll the action and movement of players to force gameplay to be whatever you want it to be. If you want a high-paced, skills-is-all kinda game, even out the items as much as possible. If you are tired of all the Rocket launcher junkies who can't stand any other weapon, place the Red armour close by a SuperNG or something.

6. How long have you been making Quake/Quake 2 maps.

over two years now, in worldcraft... ;o).

7. What do you enjoy about making maps.

gives me a reason to not do my home-work?
maybe, but just the sheer process of making a place for people to kick the shit out of each other appeals to me.

8. What plans you have for the future, with map making in mind.
(Say if you got a job in the industry related to map making).

dunno, he who lives will see.
If some company offers me a job it's their problem :o).

9. Which is your favourite game out of Quake and Quake2 and why?

quake 1 baby...
the speed, the absolute control, and the freaking rockets :oD
I've played it since it was released, and q2 just didn't tickle my balls enough to make me switch games...

10. Some self publicity, if you have a website whats it called and whats it address
