The map is made up of effectively three atriums of 2 levels (although one does have a third floor containing a LG), which all appears to spiral up to the aforementioned LG. The ground floor connects in a semi circle-type format and the upper floor makes a nice perimeter for that. What makes it unique is the height difference behind the two levels, and the steeply angled steps that connect them up.

A-shaped teleporters are prevalent and their exits are also away from the norm. Blood red etchings of a dagger on top of a sun are plastered on the sandstone walls. The teleporter exits drop you downwards into the ground floor area, onto a potentially unaware opponent (which usually wasn't the case for me and it was a rocket in the face time).

Splashes of blood adorn the ground and look quite striking against the sand floor. Pummelled metal beams hold up all the brickwork and complement nicely the light coloured walls. Lighting is provided by runes inset in the wall pillars which give out a pleasing glow.

1-on-1 was quick and close, where as FFA gave a more spread out game. There certainly didn't seem to be as much carnage, probably due to the fact that you didn't always the RL, and had a lesser arsenal to fight with.
